If you know me, you know there are certain things I will always have a weakness for: pink, anything pretty, a little bit of chaos… and Harley Quinn.
So naturally, when I had the opportunity to have a Harley doll completely repainted and customized just for me, there was absolutely no way I was saying no.
And when I tell you I am OBSESSED with how she turned out… I mean obsessed obsessed. 😭💕🖤
My Harley was repainted by the incredibly talented Shannon, a professional doll repaint artist who basically takes an ordinary doll and turns her into a tiny piece of artwork.
And you HAVE to see the transformation.

The difference between the before and after is insane. The details, the personality, the expression — she actually feels like Harley now.
There’s something I love so much about custom dolls because no two are exactly alike. Instead of owning something that thousands of other people have sitting on their shelf, you have this tiny, one-of-a-kind piece of art that somebody actually sat down and created by hand.
And this one happens to combine two things I adore: dolls and Harley Quinn.
She fits into my world a little too perfectly. 😂
I seriously cannot stop looking at her.
Meet the Artist 🎨
The artist behind my little Harley transformation is Shannon, a 26-year-old doll repaint artist from Pennsylvania.
She has loved both dolls and art for as long as she can remember and has been drawing since she was little. Eventually, she discovered the world of custom dolls and realized that it was the perfect way to combine those two passions.
In Shannon’s words:
“I’ve always had a passion for dolls and art. I’ve always been into drawing ever since I was little, so once I discovered creating custom dolls, I knew I had to do something in relation. Now I repaint dolls for a living!”
Which, first of all… dream job.
But I also love knowing that this isn’t just someone painting dolls because it happens to be what she does for work. Art and dolls have genuinely been a part of her life for years, and I think you can see that love in the finished pieces.

Every doll has its own personality and completely different look, which is one of my favorite things about her work.
It’s honestly amazing how much a repaint can change a doll. The face suddenly has so much more character, dimension and attitude. You’re not just looking at a factory-produced doll anymore — you’re looking at somebody’s artwork.
And obviously, my Harley has plenty of attitude. ♦️🖤
