I probably shouldn’t even be posting about this, but I cannot post it on social media, and I am way too excited about it. As you all know, I got into an exotic insect hobby. I’ve been dying for 2 breeds of walking stick insects, because they both have pink wings; necroscia annulipes and sipyloidea sipylus. I found 2 people in Europe willing to sell me eggs of them & try to ship them today. Today, I was shipped off about 50 necroscia annulipes eggs from Slovakia! Here’s what this pretty breed looks like:
I love those pink wings!! But the interesting part is how she sent the eggs… She sent them in a homemade birthday card, so they can fly past customs. LOL! Look at how she disguised the eggs in like a straw on the card… very creative & for that, I am very appreciative.
Purchasing pretty pink things should not be like smuggling drugs. The other lady, with the other species, is supposed to be sending the eggs from France tomorrow. But I haven’t paid her yet, nor heard from her in 2 days. But… I got one breed, so I’m happy. Well they didn’t come yet, but the fact that someone went that far to put a smile on my face has made me happy.
